Sara

狄倫常常會在他的歌詞中影射某些真實的人物，但通常不會指名道姓，但這一首歌，卻是實際寫給他前妻Sara的歌，而這也是唯一一首狄倫將自己的私人生活公諸於歌詞之中的作品。在寫這首歌的時候，狄倫的婚姻已經開始走下坡，雖然狄倫試圖以這首歌挽回妻子 Sara的感情，但最後還是失敗了。據 Jeffy大所說，1975年7月31日那天，當狄倫在錄音室裡錄製“Sara”這首歌時(即專輯收錄的take)，Sara本人正站在錄音室外觀看，隨後狄倫又錄製了“Abandoned Love”這首歌，同樣也是為了 Sara所寫的，狄倫試圖想挽回 Sara的心意，可想而知啊！

歌詞中提到“Sad-Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands”這首歌，也是寫給Sara的...  (收錄在1966年的Blonde On Blonde專輯)

狄倫和 Sara在1965年結婚，1977年離婚。

另有人推測 "Isis" 和 "One More Cup of Coffee (Valley Below)" 這兩首歌裡的主角也是 Sara Dylan。
